As a department ranking, this is a joke.
It's basically a football and basketball ranking. Utah happened to have it's best season in years in both sports.
Going to a bowl game is almost as good as winning a national championship in another sport. Win two national championship in Olympic sports and only one counts. Weird criteria. Why include the other sports at all?
