I was riding my brakes pretty hard down the steep canyon and it overheated the carbon rims. Eventually, it got hot enough that it popped the tube, tire, and cracked the wheel.

Luckily, I wasn't going that fast when I heard the pop, and even more lucky they are under warranty.
