Seems like this year's defense has capable players at every position; no apparent talent holes. The flip side is there aren't any pre-season watch-list candidates, meaning nobody's listed among the top-50 or so at his position. If we were still in the MWC, would we have a single defensive player on the pre-season defensive first or second team?

Maybe Kaufusi because he's been noticed for years in pre-season discussions.

Warner may have the best chance to emerge as an impact player.
