actually it could impact Byu more than you all think
Byu often runs play action off its read option and tells the OL to run block to disguise it. The quick pop pass option off the fake handoff is usually to the inside wr or hybrid TE slanting over the middle. There are some other routes they run off this as well. Watch a Baylor game and you see it all the time.

Byu was already called for OL down the field several times last year on this sort of action because a lineman or two was literally run blocking and driving their man more than a couple yards down field. It doesn't surprise me to hear that officials may be looking for this more often.
