Certainly not a horrible choice, but I don't believe Jabari Parker gained much in terms of fandom, notoriety or draft placement from going to Duke. He could have been a legend at BYU, he was just another guy at Duke. Certainly from a missionary standpoint for the church Jabari has not accomplished what Jimmer did.

That being said I am not second guessing Jabari or Frank for their decision to choose Duke. What I deem as valuable is most certainly different from what they deem as valuable. I wish them well, but from a personal standpoint I didn't pay much attention to Jabari a year ago. I can tell you I checked box scores almost nightly for Jimmer. I am a BYU guy, not really a cheer for a Mormon guy. Eric Weddle, Manti Teo? Good luck. Robertson Daniel and Daniel Sorensen, I will be watching.
