For sure. That was my freshman year. Best 2-minute QB I've ever seen.
I believe in the Texas Western (now UTEP) game, he passed for 510 yds & rushed for another 89 yards. It was the NCAA record for single game total offense until the '80s when a QB from Houston broke his record..
