I bought some BYU gear at the Spanish Fork Costco when we were up for the BYU/BSU game. I decided to return a couple things at the Orem Costco in between General Conference sessions. We were greeted by a very pleasant woman who saw we were wearing BYU shirts. She said that her husband was a big time fan, who: “Kept me up past one-thirty this morning typing on Cougarboard” after the UConn game. My wife laughed and told her I did the same thing. I told the woman my CB handle and she called her husband to tell him: “LV Mike is here and wanted me to say hello” (something like that). (All this occurred as people waited in line behind us. Ha.) Before hanging up the phone, she reported that her husband, BYU Dude 1984, said: "He knows who you are and said you share similar philosophies." Our little CB connection made the Costco trip pretty eventful. (Sadly, there was NO BYU stuff at Costco, so we left empty handed.) That was pretty awesome. (Suggestion: CB wives get their own little FO list to complain about their CB husbands.)
