There was concern that someone might lose an eye, so to put a stop to the
tortilla throwing, Crowton had his offense stop scoring. No touchdowns = no tortilla throws. It was brilliant, really.
By the time Bronco and Anae got the offense rolling again a couple of years later, the tradition had died off.
