This isn't a simple answer, but BYU deserves credit for their wins and how they were accomplished. None of what is happening now tarnishes either of those wins IMO. BYU played well to get them, regardless of leadership on those teams. Texas recruiting is still top tier - that legitimizes the wins to some degree anyway.

Texas leadership must shoulder the blame for Texas football. No one takes credit or blame but them.
