As BYU fans we count our wins before they happen. It is something unique to BYU. For some reason maybe it's the BYUSN brothers but we get pounded with 10-3, 11-2, 8-5 for so long that it is almost as if we have already played all the games and some Vanna White like revealer of all things just has to peal back the cloth and let us know what we have won.
As BYU fans we have got to get past the early season "this could be a special year" quest for perfection attitude and if that means turning off the BYUSN for a while until they can break the canned "crack" that is season projections. Look I get it it is a very long off season, but talking about how Elite and new years 6 and so on and so forth even predicting 6-6 is just setting evryone up for disappointment.
I find far more enjoyment in actual games and look forward to the pagentry and backworkings of the game, than I do in the overall record. as to the crowd who says there is nothin left to play for as long as there is time on the clock there is something to play for. Also as it turns out the Game is played for the fans so as long as I'm in the stands those men need to play for me.
