Given the mounting evidence regarding the harmful effects of football on one's
health, it is easy to foresee the church driving an exit out football down the road. It is amazing to read all the articles about participation being down and programs being cut back or dropped. I don't see it subsiding and predict the movement will continue and accelerate nationwide and that BYU could be an early mover in all of it.
