"Watch Dog Dads." It's a program to have fathers come to school to help with security and learning. We would roam the edges of the school during recess and keep an eye out, and we'd help in the classroom. They even stuck me in a room with this little girl who had a reading problem to help her out.

The kids love it and not just my kids. Men at an elementary school is becoming very rare. I was surprised how many kids I didn't know, really liked having me around.
