I agree that the accuracy problems in ’13 were a combination of a terrible O-line and the offense they were running. First it was new, they were trying to go up-tempo, to the point of getting plays off even if it wasn’t the best play or if the offense wasn’t completely ready. Second, Taysom was running so much. When you’re tired it’s easier for mechanics to break down. In 2014 they slowed the pace way down and his accuracy improved a lot.
That 2013 season would have been a disaster without Taysom. That O-line was terrible. Just look at how Tanner did against a terrible SJSU with a second string O-line.
