Considering everyone and their mom has already weighed in on whether or not Taysom should return next year, I figured I ought to do the same.

I want Taysom to come back, because I want to experience it. I want to marvel at the feats he does, to see him shred opposing defenses on the ground and through the air. I want to see him stack up many, many hundreds of yards against West Virginia, to torch an SEC defense in Miss. St., to see him (or anyone for that matter) finally beat Utah.

The biggest reason I want this, is because I haven't experienced it. I have seen Taysom Hill start 3 games in his career, the blowout against Hawaii, the sad why-the-heck-didn't-he-just-take-a-knee 6-3 crap-fest against Utah State the week after, and the miserable loss to UVA. Those games were all awful, and Taysom didn't play particularly well in any of them.

Three days before his break-out performance against Texas, I entered the MTC. I heard the cheers and the announcer, I saw the lights, and I was SO disappointed to be missing the game when TEXAS comes to Provo. Much more disappointing was that I missed Taysom live up to his potential. I spent the next two years as a missionary in Europe, and heard of the feats Taysom would do. I was always kind of skeptical, I never saw him as an amazing player. He was good, yeah, but was he THAT good?! I never saw him play, and because of the fact I extended my mission an additional transfer, I missed the season opener against Nebraska (was actually the biggest reason I DIDN'T want to extend, lol).

Wouldn't you know it, he got hurt. I would have to miss out on Taysom Hill, again.

Now, he could hang up his cleats and move on with his life, take his talents to South Beach, or come back and give it one more shot. I don't care if he plays QB or any other position (i.e. Braxton Miller), I just want him to suit up in blue, and take the field.

Taysom, come back. Ball out for one last year. Stay healthy PLEASE. And show me once, that you are everything that everyone is talking about.
