We are thinking of getting a PS or X-box this year after many, many years of the Wii. We have 4 kids (3 girls-17, 14, 11; and boy 9), our 9 year old is by far the most interested in video games. Others play some but he has to have a leash. I am not a gamer and will only play with the kids. We will be playing mostly sports games, teen/kid friendly stuff (Star Wars, etc.). We will avoid first person shooter games, war-type games. Very little interest in online gaming with others. Will be interested in ease on use for Netflix, etc. I know this is probably well tread ground for most, but completely new for us.

Any reason to think one would stand out above the other? Thoughts?
