They still release most games on the PS3 platform. I guess that could change at
some future date. The online play may also suffer in the future but you don't seem to care about that.
New games are $5-$10 cheaper on the PS3 when purchased new. The real benefit is that I went to the local Pawn Shop and bought 15 games for $10 a piece. When buying new games I like to buy them on the Playstation store in the digital version. Love not having the disk which always gets destroyed at my house.
We also have an external hard drive connected to our PS3 which has all of our movies, music and pictures on it.
Spotify bought out Sony Music Unlimited and has great integration into the PS3.
BYUTV is probably the one media item I wish the PS3 had.
