This will be the best season headed by a Freshman QB
in BYU history. And BYU history is primarily made up of seasons of about this difficulty.
The ONLY time Sophomore QB's have won 10 games in BYU history are Ty Detmer in 1986 (1 P5 win over Oregon at home, lost to WSU at home, and Penn St in the bowl).
And Max Hall 2007 (2 P-5 wins, 1 at home vs Az, and a split L and W with UCLA).
None of these include road wins vs power teams.
BYU overachieved this season by any BYU historical standard.
