Kansas lost to South Dakota St in fb; K-State lost to North Dakota St in fb;
Iowa St lost to North Dakota St in fb; Baylor was a joke for decades in fb -- and home of one of the worst scandals in bb history; BYU easily beat Texas in fb last two times played and beat them in bb last game as well; BYU beat #3 OU in fb last time they played; etc.
Hard to say BYU athletics wouldn't fit in with the Big 12. Every school has hiccups some times. And much more often in bball.
