If you've ever read about the family or seen ESPN film the Book of Manning, they come across as the perfect southern genteel family. They try very, very hard to portray just the right image which I find refreshing actually. I don't find it fake. A little forced? Maybe. A lot of the stuff they do for people are done behind the scenes. Again, I find it admirable. Even if it isn't entirely sincere, I like the message the family sends to always treat people with respect. I think my favorite story is how Peyton knows the long time Colts locker room attendants, still keeps in touch with them and visits them and brings gifts to them every time he is in town.
