BYU returns almost its entire o-line a 1,000 yard rusher from 2 years ago and the national freshman of the year at QB (unless that guy is replaced by a Heisman candidate). It lost some players at WR but that is the only question mark on an offense that still returns 2 of its top 5 receivers.
On defense it returns everyone except Kaufusi for the most part. 3 out 4 linebackers return, 2 out of 3 on the line and 4 out of the top 5 DB's come back
All of this talent was bolstered by some JC transfers who will be able to come in and play right away and guys coming off redshirts.
This is a 10 + win team if the new coaching staff can hit the ground running, at the floor is 8 wins. Yes, there are tough games on the schedule. But those teams are not going to have an easy time with BYU, that is for sure.
