Both Saul and Walter start out as pretty good guys, but something happens in their life that they start to become dishonest, bad people. We know the fate of Saul, and we knew the fate of Walter, and even though you know what they become, you still root for them to come out on top even if it means they leave a wake of destruction. It's awesome how the creator of the shows gets you to love people who do terrible things.
