than once that everybody is entitled to their personal choice of features they emphasize in the car buying process. Not everything posted on cb is typed in an extreme emotional state.
As far as justifying my choices, I don't feel any need to do so. I did my due diligence in buying my truck. The low number of miles I drive every year yielded a difference in operating costs of $400 a year between my truck and a midsize economy car. I decided I would rather drive a truck at that small premium than save the money and drive an Accord. If I drove more miles I would have considered a different purchase decision.
As far as bringing my employment into the conversation, that's a little bush league don't you think? I may have called people who try to squeeze out every cent of economy in owning and operating skinflints, but I didn't insinuate that they were lesser people because of it. You are welcome to your opinion, but I think that you resorted to some low blow tactics in your efforts to convince me that my feelings are wrong.
