When I say it's odd, it's odd for me to see people that I've worked with for many years to eventually hook up and get married, not that it's odd for people that work together to eventually marry.

It's probably because I really don't consider the workplace a social setting. I chat with my co-workers, but I rarely share personal information with them nor do I inquire about their personal lives.
