To the rest of the world that is synonymous with mormons. In reality, for anyone but die-hard BYU fans, it's good for the church. Nothing earth-shattering but it helps mainstream us somewhat with the increased visibility for SLC, the temple, Utah in general.

The brethren certainly see it as a positive. It was a win. Hard to call them out for bigotry.
