It seems like this is a personal issue for you. Otherwise, I struggle to understand your point. He said "sometimes it feels like..." In a frustrated moment, many of us feel things that aren't true. A frustrated individual could say, "sometimes it feels like my wife doesn't love me." That doesn't mean that his wife doesn't love him or that he thinks his wife doesn't love him. It only means that he feels that...sometimes. Likewise, saying that sometimes it feels like police are worthless, does not mean that police are worthless. It only means that it feels that way...sometimes. Is he overreacting? Probably. However, he acknowledged that possibility in his post. Your reaction seems to be over the top, as if any question of police competency is unwarranted and unacceptable.
