How does that work with the footing and foundation?

Do those go down much further, or do you somehow have to dig down even further and put new footings in? Or maybe I just don't understand altogether.

You can't dig out beneath the footings and you have to pour new footings and

In a hot housing market, usually contractor prices sky rocket as well...

If you have room on your lot, build an addition. It is a much less expensive
