I may be just thinking from a DB perspective (since that is what I played). I knew that the bigger 200lb+ RBs in the league were going to hit me hard. I didn't worry about it, just got my pads low and wrapped up. I stood a few up, but tackled most by just hanging on after the initial hit and bringing them down on top of me. The guys that I feared where the quick backs in open space, 1-on-1. For a DB to bring down the larger backs, even if it isn't pretty, looks good (even if I got up and forgot what day it was, literally). But to be left tackling air in open space, need a rock to crawl under...
