They are going to have to pay $50M anyway (Not really sure how much of it Fox pays) for 2 teams.
Either pay $56-57M for Cincy and Houston as B12 and BYU as Independent
or pay $50M for BYU & Cincy
BYU is on the cheap right now, but I think next contract (which ends in 18, unless they exercise 2019 option) will be higher with ESPN with some of the good home schedules they have lined up. The first few yrs of independence their home games were pretty lackluster.
If BYU gets in the B12, wouldn't be surprised to have BYU make about as much selling their tier 3 rights as they are selling all their rights right now. I could see them making a deal with ESPN to sell their Tier 3 rights for $5-6M a year.
