I do believe this one will be worse and for good reason.

If BYU get's snubbed... it probably means Houston took our spot and once against Politics has railroaded us again. And it came at an even worse time as this is probably our last and final chance. If you aren't on that P5 ship right now, it's over. Your program has little to no chance at all. It's honestly starting to become a completely different division of football and I do believe if this P5 vs G5 continues for another 10 or 15 years... eventually it's going to split officially and these will be 2 totally different divisions... and unfortunately for BYU, by that time they maybe push into the G5 division.

Independence wasn't supposed to be a long term solution for our Non-BCS/G5 separation. We have clearly separated from it, and while some conferences view us as P5 quality... we need it to be made official.

So if it doesn't happen this time... I think it will be very devastating to the program and fan base, most likely worse than 2011.
