Also, I don't buy scenario 3. The Big12 wants a network, but they also want more money (from the pro rata provision in the contract). Would Texas make any money off a Big12 network since all their Tier 3 games are on LHN? How much would a Big12 network make? Everyone has already said that conference network isn't viable. Not enough eyeballs in the current Big12 market (especially if Texas is steering their fans to the LHN).
