to get the ball. He spends his first 3-4 steps after the snap running side to side. I always thought it would be better for our backs to start off running downfield. Im sure there are reasons for doing this play, i dont know what im talking about

My problem was never that we did a draw on third and long. It was the number of times we did it on 3rd and long.
