Remember earlier this year when they had to use a timeout to prevent the clock from running out after a penalty so they could kick a field goal? They didn't have that luxury tonight, so imagine a scenario where they have to spike it quickly and somebody lines up wrong, etc.

I have to believe that factored into the decision... BYU is too undisciplined.
