Question for you legal guys about taking an oath in court
Do witnesses still swear under oath on the Bible? What if somebody objects because they are not Christian?

No bibles here in Nevada. You just raise your hand and take an oath.

No bibles in federal court. Raise hand and swear away.

Swearing on the Bible is for TV. In real life, you just raise your hand.

You just raise your hand and the clerk says "Do you swear or affirm.."
