for single athletes who aren't married if they are willing to abide by the same honor code and abstain from pre-marital sex in any form while at school then there's no issue. From there, though, there are several sticking points. If an LBGTQZXYV athlete wants to have a BF/GF of the same gender and hold hands or show some other form of public display of affection that will be a problem. If an LGDOSYHG_FLS@#% athlete wants to marry a person of the same gender that will be a problem.

There's no way around that. Now what is their definition of the word "safe"? I don't think they'd be harrassed by the general student population but if they're sneaking around behind closed doors I wouldn't doubt a roommate or someone in their apt complex dropping a dime on them.
