I agree that football in general has more feel good wins, but basketball can
surprise us. The SDSU games in 2011 are good example along with the game last Saturday and the other Zag win in 2015 when they were number 3. I do think the last great season in basketball (2010-11) is more recent then last great season in football (2009).

No, not a poor season. They went 8-4 the rest of the way and beat Stanford in the Sun Bowl. They were ranked for 10
