That is certainly possible. Anyone could see that this team did not have good
chemistry. It's possible that he is thinking he's ready for a change of scenery, and a chance at the NBA with Italy as Plan B may very well sound better to him than another year at BYU.
I don't know whether that is true or not, but it doesn't sound all that far fetched.
