Criddler, this is correct. Difference is .31 +/- .07 sec.
From the abstract: "Hand timing (4.85 +/- 0.28 seconds) was significantly faster (p < 0.001) than electronic timing (5.16 +/- 0.28 seconds)."
4.85 avg for hand timing was .31 seconds faster than 5.16 avg for electronic.
