Yup. There is a strange tendency to pronounce any poly name that

ends in "o" or "u" with an "eau" (read "ay-ow") pronunciation. Examples - calling Manti Teo, Manti "Tay-ow" or Ula Tolutau, Ula "Tolu-tay-ow".
