yeah, Detmer said that after the scrimmage because he knew fans would freak out about the INTs. he also noted that
Tanner had gotten "greedy" in practice lately as well as in the scrimmage, which is a VERY good thing.

Good. Because other things were not encouraging

Like a defense that allows 77% of passes to be completed?

Good point, people forget about all the taxes they'd pay with a 7fig salary too

Fans know so little, yet judge so much

This was referencing everyone bagging on Tanner after the Spring Game

No one was bagging. Just making observations on the very small sample we have.

True, but 77% in team doesn't

I don't think 85% sucks, either, but I liked the story

I agree. Peyton Manning led the NFL in interceptions his rookie year and Brett Favre has the most all time.

Detmer threw a ton of INT's as well, including 28 in one season

Ty was the master of being greedy, so I think he likely saw himself in Tanner

so what? it's practice. you take chances in practice that you wouldn't in games so that you find your limits.

Tanner seems to be a "gamer" too. Hard to judge everything from practice on him
