Think there are a lot of phrases and other vocabulary Mormons use without realizing how foreign they sound.
"restoration" is one. To most people restoration brings to mind a piece of antique furniture or Restoration Hardware. Most have no idea it's being used as a religious term. That's just one example but there are many others.
