There are some inherent problems with stand alone ERs

The main problem being some people don't understand that if you go to a stand alone ER and you need to be admitted for surgery or medical care you have to be transferred to a different hospital.

I don't live up in Utah but typically the facilty will be small and say Emergecy

That's what I'm thinking. Seen them other places but not here. Either instacare or ER, that's it.

I've never seen a free standing ER in L.A. They are called Urgent Care.
