especially Blu-ray discs. IIRC, they announced, years ago, that they were not going to do so either. I don't know if that's still the same status.

I use a two-step system: rip with MakeMKV and encode with Handbrake.

Out of curiosity, why don't you just use Handbrake for both?

Curious. What size are you resulting files? And what type (mpeg-4, mpeg-2)?

That's not bad. On average, most of mine (mp4) are running about .9GB to 1.2GB.
