I get it, but blackshirts has it right (a few posts below). A win over LSU would be huge, and it wouldn't be tainted
in the least because they're missing one of their stars.
Remember how big it was for us to beat Texas, even when they stunk? Beating one of the kings of college football (to borrow Mandel's terminology) is a big deal no matter what.
Honestly, the Arden Key situation is really good for us. His absence will help us out a little bit, but he'll mostly likely return soon and play the rest of the year for what is expected to be very good team. If he stays healthy for the rest of the year, the fact that he missed the first game will be forgotten.
IMO this is an ideal situation.
