and yosemite and some pretty amazing spots. i just can't get passed the "i'm going to spend all this time and money to make camping as close to home as possible...when i usually fail miserably...so why don't i just stay home and do day hikes?"

i take my kids once a year to some camping site in sierras. it's definitely fun but that's about all i can handle.
