He could get away with being conservative at Utah
He had corners that could do press man coverage. He had a DLine that could get pressure with basic 4 man rushes. In his experience he hasn't had to do more with less.
Well, right now he has less at BYU than he did at Utah (and OSU). The defense is going to have to do more than what was done at Utah because it is needed with the current talent level.
