You invest 2 years prepping your next superstar to a system that's proven with
multiple teams, systems, players, etc that work....and your QB still doesn't know how to do it.

What do you do as an OC? Give him the calculus version, or start going back to the trig version, then the geometry version, then the elementary version? Seems like that's where we are. Wanting the calculus version, playing the elementary version.

It's Ty's system. But, with the NFL, NCAA....it's a proven system to work and be successful. I am fully invested in getting that back into BYU's system. We have to have a QB that gets it. Looks like we don't.

Or, the QB gets it...and our WR don't, and line doesn't etc? I'm not sure which or where the problem really lies.

My biggest question is what the hades is going on with the defense. You can pretty much go all out, play pissed off, and just go maniac on defense as long as you are assignment sound. Blitz, disrupt, etc. We are playing bend, and keep bending, and bend some more kind of defense. We are playing terrible on the defensive side of the ball.... and who knows why?
