so if they have to clarify as an independent, then its kind of a misleading stat. its not like road games get harder

Compared to the MAC? Yes, I would say they do in fact get harder as an Indy.

An Indy sets their own schedule. If an Indy team sets 8 games that are as hard as MAC games, then Indy is no harder
