I think BYU was hurt by a lack of experience last year.
Didn't they only have one WR/TE who had ever even caught a pass in a game?
That hurts when you lack experience. It hurts a LOT. Maybe they needed to play some of those dudes that they had on the scout team last year so they weren't going into this completely unprepared. That and have Moroni not get hurt. That would've helped too.
