Details? Were both in relation to the trampoline?

Neither trampoline related. One kid fell off my deck, the other was a golf cart accident.

Crazy. Looking back do you feel either was justified or were they just crybabies?

One sued us, one was claim against insurance. Insurance covered/settled both. Not good for rates, though.

Relationships kind of fell apart with the kids. I'm still good friends with one of the dads.

I released myself from liability by not buying a trampoline. but if I had one, I'd make parents sign a release

This is correct. In Utah, a parent can't waive the right of a child to collect..

We didn't but that was over 10 years ago when we had a trampoline with kids jumping on it. I would nowadays

Waiver will not matter - just get insurance.

No, my kids don’t hang out with rich kids with litigious parents.

I hate trampolines. One daughter broke her elbow which required surgery to fix.
