Here's the clause in his contract according to inside sources:

"As such, Mr. Young shall retain his right to facial hair in the form of a beard up to the length of Brigham Young, his great great great grandfather for which this great University is named after. It shall not deviate to alternative facial hair excepting in cases of medical necessity which must be authorized by a Doctors note and also approved by the Honor Code office. Alternative facial hair includes but is not limited to: mutten chops, French fork, the chin curtain, goatee (and all its variations), Franz-Josef, Anchor, Napoleon III, balbo, A La Souvarov, etc. If Mr. Young desires to reduce his beard to a mustache a full contract re-negotiation must be completed with the approval of the board of trustees."
